FCC: First-run movies OK to be directly sent to consumers over secure TV lines.

Planet Of The Apes Reboot Gets Title, Release Date

Today we’re much closer to getting another memorable finale now that the new film has a tentative title and release date.

…How will the new Fox Planet of the Apes prequel/reboot end, one wonders? The original series always featured such unsettling final moments — washed ashore Statues of Liberty, blown-to-bits Charlton Hestons, dead chimpanzees and talking baby apes, monkey uprisings, and crying statues… Such great stuff. And today we’re that much closer to getting another memorable finale now that the new film has a tentative title and release date….
